He has achieved success who has lived well, laughed often and loved much;
Who has gained the respect of intelligent men and the love of little children;
Who has left the world better than he found it, whether by a perfect poem or a rescued soul;
Who has never lacked appreciation of earth's beauty or failed to express it;
Who has always looked for the best in others and given them the best he had;
Whose life was an inspiration;
Whose memory a benediction.

This 5 month aniverssary hit me hard too. In the morning I broke out crying remembering how Ben and Maggie's old boyfriend caravaned her on her "maiden voyage". Maggie was scared to get her driver's license, and when she finally had it the old boyfriend and Ben made her drive down the road in between them (protected by their vehicles) on her first drive (kind of) by herself. He was a protector of my little one and I will never forget all the good! Aunt Gretchen

THE BROKEN CHAIN
We little knew that morning that
God was going to call your name
In life we loved you dearly, In death
We'll do the same. It broke our
hearts to loose you, you did not
go alone; for part of us went with
you, the day God called you home. You
left us peaceful memories, your love is still our
guide, and though we cannot see you, you are
always at our side. Our family chain is
broken, and nothing seems the same; bust as god calls us one by one, the cahin will link again.
